Synthetic styles should be maintained with products formulated for synthetic fibers, while human hair wigs deserve sulfate-free care that supports softness and shine. Heat-friendly synthetic wigs should be washed in cool water to protect their style.
I recommend gently detangling before washing, allowing the wig to air dry on a stand, and storing it in a clean, cool place away from direct sunlight and heat.
